wHAT IS RELAB?
WM Re-Lab: In 2019, the architects being the educationists, decided to take a step further and initiated WM-Relab, a research lab inclined to question the prevalent design norms. Considering the fact that architecture has a substantial impact on society, the potential of Architecture and Design should be put to better use by introducing students to socially conscious design approaches. Design has the power to serve the masses but in reality it has become a very superficial field focused mainly on aesthetics.
At WM Re-Lab, the actual essence of Architecture is explored, which is to investigate ways and materials that are not only aesthetically pleasing but cater to the needs of its inhabitants. What good is a beautifully decorated structure when it is not providing the comfort the end users seek.
